Broadlands Public School

On est magnifique!

Broadlands Public School is located north of Lawrence Ave. near Victoria Park Ave. The school opened in 1960. In 1973, Broadlands became a French Immersion school and then a single track French Immersion school in 1986. We are unique in being one of six single track French Immersion schools in TDSB. We currently serve approximately 300 students.
The majority of our students arrive by bus. From Junior Kindergarten to Grade 3, all instruction is in French with English introduced in Grade 4 for one period per day.  Grade 5 students work half day in French and half day in English. Please visit www.tdsb.on.ca/french for more information.

To promote a safe learning environment, staff, students and parents follow our school Code of Behaviour available both in French and English. The Code is sent home at the beginning of the year and is also located in the student agenda.  In the agenda and on our website, you will also find safety rules for the bus and for recess.
Our website includes an on-line calendar which is regularly updated.  Our monthly newsletter is updated monthly and found on the web site to  communicate all of the great activities that are taking place at our school!
Broadlands is proud of the support given by the many parents and community volunteers in school programs and numerous family events. We work as a true team. À Broadlands, on est magnifique!
